My Cool New Site Redesign

You’re here and you found me. I’m so excited. My edithfine.com website has been completely redesigned. I learned so much about font and background and color choices, amount of text to use (as little as possible), features for easy navigation—for instance, how paging over book covers leads to a brief description, and terms like “gradient,” “hamburger menu” (ha ha, so clever!), and “scalability,” the latter referring to making the site now “fit” any device from iPhones and Androids through tablets, to computers, without material being cut off.
I’m super happy to have a captcha feature on my contact page to eliminate robo-spamo. The most amazing addition by the MojoPixie site developer (Susan Bernard https://smbernard.tech/) is the button in the lower left corner from USERWAY, offering adaptations from oral reading to text size, contrast, and more. Amazing. This option fits perfectly the goals of children’s writers to aim for inclusivity and diversity for all readers. Do take a look if you have a minute.

I’ll be doing blog posts periodically (and, knowing me, probably erratically) on wide-ranging topics, so stay tuned. I’d love to hear from you.
